I’m replacing an old Windows 7 computer that had reached the end of its useful life with this one. I wasn’t able to run Windows 10 on the old laptop. With my new Dell, I have a much faster boot and a more stable operating system. I am only a casual gamer (solitaire, puzzle games, etc.), so I cannot comment on its gaming capabilities. Immediately after unpacking, it looks impressive. This version is much slimmer and sleeker than the previous one and generally just much more streamlined. I was amazed at the quality of the display! I highly recommend it. This kind of display is unbeatable for only $12000. However, there are some cons as well.

I have always run at or above 60FPS with both the GTX 1660ti and 9750H in my tests. I am amazed at how fast the SSD boots up. Thanks to the included tools, I can optimize its performance. It supports 50MBPS steam downloads, thanks to the integrated Intel wireless module. NOTE: Steam downloads are not available on PCs. For the money, this is a good gaming laptop. As soon as I turned the computer on, all of the updates were installed, and the machine was running smoothly.

 

When I played the MECHWARRIOR5 demo, an incredible boost kicked in automatically because the game is a graphics hog. There is limited storage space, so it receives a 4-star rating even though the SSD is fast. Despite being dated, the video card seems to hold up pretty well in MSI afterburner’s stress tests. It is, therefore, a good gaming computer for travelers or those with boring jobs.

 

The price can’t be beaten for its quality. I would recommend it 100%. I like the look of the laptop, and its performance is excellent as well. High settings easily allow it to take on games like Fallout 4, ESO, and Path of Exiles. This Lenovo laptop is an excellent choice if you enjoy Lenovo and are looking for a computer with a 180° hinge. With its multipurpose capabilities, the Lenovo Idea pad L340 is one of the best gaming laptops you can get for under 1200 dollars. In addition to having 8 GB of memory, this laptop features a quality NVidia graphics card that offers smooth and fluid gameplay and a large, backlit keyboard with a number pad.

Windows 10 is installed on the laptop, so it can also complete assignments or office tasks. Compared to other laptops in this price range, this laptop has fewer USB ports, and it is a bit expensive.

It has excellent performance, first and foremost. Anything can be done with an i5-9300h, but heavy tasks will need the GTX 1650, which can handle a variety of games. The most graphics-intensive games will need low- to medium settings for the i5-9300h, however. I have never had an issue using the 8 GB of RAM for internet browsing, school work, and occasional gaming, even though the CPU isn’t the most powerful. Even so, it probably performs above average as it is not the most powerful laptop. Even with undervaluing (I applied -125 mV if you’re interested), the battery life on this laptop is surprising. The laptop also runs relatively cool, with temperatures rarely exceeding 80 degrees.

Lenovo Idea pad L340 (15″) is one of a number of laptops that have the Idea pad 330 as their common ancestor. Unlike previous review units, this one – the Idea pad L340 Gaming (15″) is almost identical to an Idea pad 330-15ICH we performed some time ago. In the meantime, let’s look at what makes them different instead of focusing on the similarities. Let’s begin with the outer shell. Keeping up with this year’s trends, the laptop now has thin bezels and a sleek design.

Furthermore, it’s nice to see a gaming laptop that is even less gamer-centric than the Legion brand, which is already quite industrial. Thanks to its low price, the Ideapad L340 Gaming may be comparable to the HP Omen series in the same way the Pavilion Gaming brand referred to the Legion series of HP computers. Last year’s Pavilion Gaming 15 wasn’t very sturdy, but from this year, we noticed a significant improvement over the 17-inch model.

As we already mentioned, the Idea pad L340 Gaming (15″) has a stylish look. Although it is also entirely made of plastic rather than rubberized plastic, it has a round design on the lid, unlike the Legion Y540, whose base and top are rubberized. Even though the Idea pad L340 (15′′) is a gaming computer, it looks almost identical to its non-gaming brother – it is similar in SizeSize and weight, but a little thicker – 23.9mm thick vs. 22.9mm tall.

There are only a few ports on the left side of the Idea Pad L340-15IRH gaming, which are essential. There is also no memory card reader or Thunderbolt port, but instead, Lenovo includes a USB Type C port supporting the 3.0 standard. Sadly, it does not function as a charging port. I haven’t tested this machine thoroughly, but I figured it would be an ugly machine with great specs until I opened it. Fortunately, I wasn’t disappointed. Additionally, the seller included a little rubber kitty with the purchase.

It’s so lovely. It feels like I got more than my money’s worth from this brand new laptop I got a couple of days ago. Because the laptop has an SSD, it starts up very quickly. Over clocking of the 9th gen i7 is possible to increase its base clock speed to 2.6 GHz.

The laptop can switch between silent, regular, or turbo mode depending on how intense the gaming will be. Despite being on turbo mode, they don’t emit much noise. I’m telling you, the keyboard is one of the best laptop keyboards I’ve used. I like the travel distance of the keys and the RGB lighting. I feel confident about the overall quality of the laptop. I get the impression that this isn’t just some cheap plastic box that can last a week; it looks like it could take some profound love. I am happy with my laptop. The game runs at 60+ frames per second (Not very demanding, but still: Witcher 3, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Everspace). Adding more disks was very easy. The graphics are stunning, and the gameplay is quite impressive.

Only the cooling systems are problematic. Laptops are more likely to overheat, hence the more powerful cooling systems, but the noise produced is noticeable, like an air turbine. While headphones mitigate this issue, it still exists.

This laptop is very economical.

I got a great deal on this, and it arrived early in an exceptionally well-padded box. It flies during operation and is very well built. Its only flaw is a spongy keyboard, which is not enough to knock down a star.

I have found it to be the perfect machine so far. The 1060 6GB provides an excellent frame rate. The CPU and GPU can be hot, but the temperature maxes out at 81*c and 76*c, respectively, with the cooling pad I use.

Aside from the screen, I wouldn’t say I like anything about it. Sure, it’s okay, but I wouldn’t know anything else about it. Angles are good, but the picture is not very bright, so sunny days may not be as bright. In any case, the image is a 5 out of 5: excellent keyboard, solid build, and excellent performance.
