Performance
The laptop is powered by the powerful Intel Core i5-10300H processor, ideal for a budget gaming laptop.
This GPU can deliver 30fps gaming at medium settings with the latest AAA titles with the RTX 3050. The other esports games are efficiently run at 120 frames per second for moderately demanding games. One of the most affordable gaming laptops, this model is recommended to those looking for smooth gaming performance at an affordable price point.
The display
Some higher-end laptops offer screens that exceed 100Hz. With more and more gaming laptops coming with high-frequency panels, we can see that this has become a standard.
With a 15.4″ IPS panel that runs at 144 Hz and a native resolution of 1920×1080, Acer Nitro 5 offers an impressive performance.
However, the picture quality is not comparable to other laptops, especially those that cost more. Furthermore, its color-space coverage of 61% sRGB is also relatively low (270 units on average).
Having connectivity
Realtek/Intel chips on this laptop enable Gigabit Lan, Wireless 6, and Bluetooth connectivity.
Predator is equipped with a Killer E2600 Gigabit Ethernet (1) port, a pair of USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports (2), and a combo jack for audio ((1)).
In addition to the USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (4) and USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (5) ports, there is an HDMI 2.1 (6) port on the right side.
To tuck the power cable away, the power connector (7) is located on the back of the device.
The chassis
The new Nitro 5 is mainly made of plastic but has a quality feel to it. The lid is a lot shinier when compared to genuine metal, especially. It has a black keyboard, touchpad, and other surfaces with red accents. A dull combination of fun makes this the right gaming laptop.
With the keyboard
This cheap gaming laptop has a surprisingly good keyboard for a budget laptop. There is good feedback on how much force is needed to click each key.
Sadly, this keyboard does not have per-key RGB or 4-zone RGB backlighting; the only color available in red. The lack of overrated colorful graphics is terrific for those who don’t care about them.
Thermal
As one of the factors that determine the performance of a gaming laptop, heat dissipation is significant. Its predecessors led to more heat dissipation and gaming overheats, but the new Acer Nitro 5 does not suffer.
Because the CPU and GPU feature four heat slots, it can operate at its peak performance longer. Gaming is not negatively affected by a hot palm rest, so it does not cause discomfort.
A battery’s life
Compared to the Nitro 5, the Nitro 5 has a significantly longer battery life. The device can seamlessly explore the web for up to 10 hours continuously on Wi-Fi.
Customer response after purchasing
The laptop is low-priced and has significantly advanced hardware, and I enjoy playing games on it at 100+ frames per second in addition to handling my work and daily needs. Overall I would recommend buying it if you want a high-capacity, low-priced laptop.
The laptop is fantastic! It runs games without any lag. It went fast at that price, and I highly recommend checking it frequently if you can get it for that price.
When it comes to looking for a new laptop, it can be a little stressful. I found that this laptop had the system specs needed for most projects based on my Amazon search. My order was received two days earlier than expected. Overall, I am happy with this purchase. The Acer I purchased was exactly what I expected.
It’s beautiful to have a keyboard. The battery charges pretty quickly, and you can over clock the device. All in all, this is an excellent product. The Norton pre-installation is annoying, but it is rapidly removed. While the camera is low quality, you should use it for most tasks, especially if you do not plan to be a YouTube star. In general, very pleased.

Performance
Featuring the Intel 11th Gen Core i7-11370H, the first H-series processor based on Tiger Lake, it is a first for gaming laptops. It is to its credit that it has an Nvidia Geforce RTX 3050 Ti graphics card, which is more affordable and well balanced than higher-tier variants.
It only has 8 GB of RAM because it operates in single-channel mode; a second stick is recommended.
Display
The screen is somewhat subpar. Although it has an IPS screen, it covers only about 60% of the sRGB color space, so colors will not be remarkably accurate, and with an 853:1 contrast ratio, it will make blacks appear more like dark gray. This luminosity of about 350 nits is adequate for most tasks, but it may be a bit dark in direct sunlight.
Connectivity
Wi-Fi 802.11aX (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.1 (dual-band) are included as wireless connectivity options on the TUF Dash.
In addition to a Power Connector (1), Ethernet (2), HDMI 2.0b (3), and Thunderbolt 4 Type-C with Display Port 1.4, the left side of the laptop has a 3.5mm Audio combo jack (6). The right side of the device has two USB Type 3.2 Gen 1 (7) ports.
Chassis
During the development of the TUF Dash F15, the chassis was redesigned. In comparison to the TUF A15, it has a more refined appearance. In addition, the chassis has been tested for durability and reliability by the standard military testing procedures. It is sturdy and does not bend or flex when used, but it is still portable.
There is currently no 15-inch Asus product more portable than the TUF Dash F15 series. The only downside of it is the lack of a webcam.
The keyboard
Asus designed an outstanding keyboard, both in terms of the feel of the keys and in terms of their usefulness. This keyboard has well-spaced keys, and I soon became accustomed to typing on it. The WASD keys are transparent and backlit with blue and the light shining through them is beautiful.
Thermal
ASUS makes sure that the TUF Dash F15 is not overheating by using a less power-hungry CPU and a GPU that consumes less power altogether. The CPU averaged 76°C while gaming and the GPU got about 70°C, which I find impressive. CPU temperatures reached 95°C under high load, and GPU temperatures remained relatively cool at 76°C.
A battery’s life
Due to the large 76 Wh battery feeding midrange hardware, battery life is likely quite good. The laptop’s battery lasted for nine hours at 50% display brightness, which is good for doing your daily business with it. However, gaming will not be possible for nine hours since gaming is very power-intensive and drains the battery quickly.
Customer response after purchasing
This machine is incredible. Exactly what I needed at a great price. I would highly recommend buying the cooling pad as it gets pretty warm! Several other online reviews echoed the same conclusion that internal fans are loud during demanding applications or games. Although it isn’t the best audio out there, I thought it was less terrible than most professional reviews stated. I appreciate ExcaliburPC’s timely delivery!
This has been bothering me for quite some time. It works great! I’m able to use the maximum settings in all games I play. The laptop is lightweight, silent, fast, and powerful, and it meets all of the descriptions. This laptop is superb. I highly recommend pairing it with a cooling pad. The fans on my cooling pad do not even start operating when I turn them on in performance mode. I was expecting something like this!
I haven’t yet played with it, but it has an attractive design and an exceptional processor. If it does not play well, then I will update. As of now, I do not anticipate any issues. When the program first started, there were many updates needed. The machine started much more quickly after these were completed, and overall, the performance improved substantially. There is only one criticism I have: its price compared with the inferior RTX3050TI included. It was almost $850 for this machine, but by the time I made up my mind later that day, the price had risen $100. In my opinion, it became an okay deal due to that change. Compared to the competition in this price range, this is an okay deal if you’re on a budget.

Performance
You will enjoy gaming more and see more details on the screen with the 11th generation Intel i7 CPUs. Its Intel Core i7-113375H processor powers the laptop’s gaming capabilities. Whether you’re traveling near or far, you’ll always be able to enjoy the unparalleled performance. Despite the constant changes in gaming standards, MSI’s high-end gaming laptops continue to set the bar high.
MSI’s Stealth M15 sports an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card, Nvidia’s most premium GPU. It provides advanced ray-traced graphics and cutting-edge AI capabilities with its new RT Cores, Tensor Cores, and streaming multiprocessors. Therefore, it can be used by gamers at all skill levels as a powerful weapon.
Display
There’s nothing special about the display, and it’s clearly not the best, but it’s vibrant and minimizes glare well enough. Since the maximum light level (255 nits) is relatively low, outdoor visibility is average. The fact that the lightweight chassis might encourage users to use the Stealth 15M outdoors more often.
The 1080p 144Hz screen, however, looks great for games.
Connectivity
It supports Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) and Bluetooth 5.1 (Dual-band) at the wireless connectivity level.
MSI Stealth 15M laptop has the following connectors on the left side: a Power Connector (1), Micro SD Card Reader (2), USB 3.2 Type-A Gen 1 (3), and a 3.5 mm Audio Combo Jack (4).
The Thunderbolt 4 Type-C connector supports DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery (5), (6)
In addition to the Thunderbolt 4 Type-C and DisplayPort 1.4 on the right, there is a USB 3.2 Type-A Gen 1 connector (7), a USB 3.2 Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 with DisplayPort (6), and an HDMI 2.0 connector (8).
Chassis
A gaming laptop is hard to beat when it comes to looks, and MSI Stealth 15M has one of the sleekest looks out of any 15-inch laptop, let alone one of the lightest and thinnest. Aside from the aluminum chassis, this laptop features an ultra-light design thanks to its lightweight construction.
A vital feature of the Stealth 15M is its low weight, which means it delivers a lot of performance for a relatively small amount of weight, which makes it an ideal choice for gamers who are constantly on the move.
Keyboard
You will have a great typing experience with a single-zone RGB lit keyboard. However, it still offers a nice amount of travel, quick response, and tactile feel despite the low profile typical for slim laptops.
Thermal
Gamer’s review says that the bottom part of the PC gets extremely hot while gaming. Despite its best efforts, the aluminum chassis still becomes unpleasantly warm to the touch at times, even though it is pretty efficient at dissipating some of that heat. Furthermore, the thin chassis may not allow for adequate heat management, resulting in noisy fans under heavy loads.
Battery Life
Using the Stealth 15M for moderately intensive use will give you a few hours of service from its three-cell 52Wh battery.
It took us about four and a half hours to watch a one-hour conference call and browse the Internet. You may spend up to six hours doing only office-type work, such as typing.
Sadly, this does not make the laptop the winner of the battery life leader board, but it still lasts long enough to let you lounge on your couch without having to charge it all the time.
Customer response after purchasing
Besides the excellent screen quality, its dashes are fluid and work smoothly. This gaming laptop is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. A cooling pad and updated drivers are required for all gaming laptops due to their tendency to get warm. The MSI Dragon Center is a fantastic product, it produces quality work, and I would highly recommend it. You will have adequate gaming time even if you are unplugged and are doing work or school assignments, as well as answering emails. Overall, I wouldn’t mind purchasing my PC after this purchase; it’s still not a bad deal.
With CPU/GPU benchmark results, this laptop came in the top 10% of laptops I compared at the $1k to $1.6K price range. LIGHT. Under four pounds, I could find only this laptop with such specs. STURDY. It feels solid and well built to me, but that’s only my opinion. My favorite thing about this keyboard is that it feels soft to touch, and the clicks are almost silent.

PROS
- An incredibly portable form factor
- The performance of 1080p is reliable
- The performance of 1080p is reliable
- Compact and sleek

Cons
- No ethernet port
- Mediocre battery life
- As a result of the compact design, cooling is compromised

With many features for the money, the Acer Predator Helios 300 is excellent gaming. This system features an Intel i7 processor running at 4.6 GHz, the 11th generation of the i7. With its powerful processing unit, it can run just about any game or piece of software. Compared to the previous 10th generation, the CPU has significantly improved.
This laptop supports ray-tracing and deep learning because it is powered by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU overclockable to 80W.
There is an overclocking function built right in the turbo buttons above the keyboard. The Predator Helios 300 may be much louder in turbo mode because of the increased fan noise.
16 GB of RAM should suffice for anyone who purchases this laptop for gaming purposes.
Display
Regarding the display, there haven’t been many changes from the previous versions of the Predator Helios 300. With a 15.6-inch screen, you’ll get a refresh rate of 144Hz, a resolution of FULL HD, and a maximum brightness of 310 cd/m2. This means you can use the laptop outdoors, as it’s not among the brightest displays.
However, despite not being factory-calibrated, the Helios 300 has good color accuracy. While it covers the sRGB color space and 60% of AdobeRGB, it is not suitable for professional image or video editing tasks.
Connectivity
Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 support is provided by the Killer AX1650i wireless card. A pair of USB 3.0 Gen 1 Type-A ports (2), an Ethernet port (1), and an audio combo jack (3) are located on the left side of the Predator.
As well as the USB Type-C and Type-A ports on the right, the laptop features HDMI 2.0b and mini DisplayPort 1.4 video outputs as well as HDMI 2.0b and Type-A ports.
To make the power cable out of the way, the power connector (8) is located at the device’s rear.
Chassis
While this laptop has undergone a slight change in design, with more ventilation openings for maximum airflow, it is still quality and sturdy, thanks to its partially aluminum construction. Further, the Predator logo is prominently displayed on the top of the light.
Keyboard
Backlighting is available in four zones on the Predator’s keyboard. Keys have enough travel for gaming, and tactile feedback is adequate. At times, you may misfire or miss a vital while performing daily tasks on a desktop computer. Despite feeling smooth and comfortable under my fingers, I found typing a bit uncomfortable. In time, you become as accurate and fast at typing as on any other higher-tier laptop.
Thermal
Under heavy load, the Predator can easily reach 90°C despite the upgraded 4th generation AeroBladeTM 3D Fans (which are much quieter than their predecessors). If the laptop is heated this high, touching its upper part might be uncomfortable. Turbo mode can also cause the fans to be quite loud, and gaming laptops usually have quite loud fans.
A battery’s life
One of the other factors that affect the usability of a device is battery life. Its battery life is 5 hours when carrying out basic tasks, which isn’t the best in the market, but sufficient for primary use. With this 58Wh battery, you won’t have to worry about it damaging due to constant charging.
Customer response after purchasing
This laptop has a lot of bang for the buck. I searched for a long time and have not seen another laptop with this price that was loaded like this. Every other laptop had something that made it not as good. When I got it, it exceeded my expectations. It’s fast! It runs all of my
It started as a great little laptop with no issues at all; recently, I’ve been playing more games on it and have noticed it doesn’t cope well with keeping the CPU’s temperature down! Bear in mind; it can’t even run games like Skyrim or rust without hitting the mid 90°c range!

Performance
Featuring a powerful Intel Core i7-10750H, Razer Blade 15 Base Model 2021 is a great choice for high-performance computing. It is no longer possible to design a MaxQ GPU with the new mobile Ampere microarchitecture.
Optimus have replaced G-Sync since Optimus is now the standard. In an Optimus laptop, the Intel integrated GPU always feeds the screen. The Nvidia GPU shows up as a co-processor. Vsync is always on in a game that uses the Nvidia GPU to draw frames. There will be no difference in the native refresh rate between GPUs as long as 144 Hz is used.
It can run any AAA game that is currently available, including the latest i7-10750H model. Razer Synapse offers three power profiles for configuring CPU performance – Balanced, Game, and Creator.
Comparing the GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q benchmarks shows that the GeForce RTX 3070 is quite a few percentage points ahead. It makes a big difference when playing games on higher settings, especially when playing more GPU intense games.
Based on the selected power profile, the performance of graphics is only slightly different.
Display
With a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 144 Hz, the 15-inch display offers upper mid-range performance. Gamers will find it ideal for gaming with its superb contrast ratio of 1000:1 and fast response times.
Connectivity
The device provides a broad range of advanced connectivity options. It has Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) and Bluetooth® 5.2 onboard for wireless connectivity. The first is a Power connection (2), the second is a Gigabit Ethernet port (3), the third is a USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 (4), and the fifth is a 3.5 mm audio combo port (5).
One ThunderboltTM 3 (USB-C) port (6), two USB Type 3.2 Gen 2 ports (7), an HDMI 2.1 port (8), and a Kensington Lock (9).
Chassis
Several manufacturers can’t match Razer’s all-aluminium unibody chassis used in its Blade 15 Base Model for 2021.
Keyboard
The keyboard is unchanged from version to version, so we hope Razer will improve it in upcoming versions. It still has a soft and shallow key input/travel compared to other gaming laptops – a deeper key journey will result in a more comfortable typing experience.
It is standard on a keyboard to have RGB illumination, but it is only available on the Advanced Model.
Thermal
There are fewer hot spots than what you’d find in other gaming laptops under heavy load. Some gaming laptops may get slightly warmer in the frontal areas than most. A smaller ventilation grille on the bottom panel and a tighter aluminium chassis are the reasons for this. Gaming is known to result in a palm area over 35°C.
Battery Life
Battery capacity is 65 Wh which assures slightly under 5 hours of non-gaming WLAN use. Charging from 0 to 100 per cent takes around 90 minutes.
Customer response after purchasing
Good performance, great trackpad! Coming from a Macbook Pro and XPS 15, each sport 500+ nits of brightness; I was worried about this laptop’s advertised 300 nits but was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s still a bright screen!
This laptop is great, but I highly recommend getting a cooling pad because without this laptop gets very warm very fast. Other than that, it is a great laptop.
An issue with the fan on the laptop forced it to be returned soon after the reception. One week ago, the laptop was returned to its manufacturer. The manufacturer support staff politely handled our grandsons’ inquiries, and a new laptop was in the mail. The shipping date for the order is 3 to 5 days. He is disappointed and anxious to receive it. Before it was returned, he loved it for about two weeks, and what should have been a special gift has now turned into a concern rather than a celebration. When will it arrive? I would like a definitive answer as the purchaser. If that is impossible, I would appreciate a refund for the laptop and the protection plan.

PROS
- Same excellent built quality
- Fantastic keyboard
- Colorful 1440p panel
- Smooth glass touchpad
- Excellent built quality
- Solid gaming performance
Cons
- The display could be brighter
- Port selection isn’t as good as the Advanced model
- It doesn’t always clear the 60 fps bar for games at native QHD
- Boring design
As part of this system, an RTX 2070 Max Q graphics card is included, one of the best video cards on the market. Due to its outstanding quality, I have always preferred ASUS ROG products. This gaming laptop is extremely powerful, thanks to the RTX 2070 graphic card. Without any problems, FFXIV can be played at its highest settings. With a build quality like this, the laptop will last you a long time. Rather than flashy games, I prefer gaming laptops that look less aggressive, like this one.
Its 244Hz screen means that you won’t experience ghosting or lag while gaming. It’s particularly useful with high-end GPUs because if it’s hard to handle the FPS you already have, it doesn’t make sense to buy a high-end GPU. There is 16 GB of RAM, enough to run pretty much any application at this point, and it’s replaceable, meaning it comes with a 1TB SSD as the default storage. Also in favor are the heat dissipation capabilities; ASUS has always been well known for its excellent ventilation. You can choose from a variety of different speeds for other types of games.
As long as you can afford to splash out on a little more, this is a great gaming laptop that should last for a long time due to its high-quality components.
Customer response after purchasing
The laptop does run very hot if gaming, but it’s not a big deal as the heat is between the keyboard and the screen. I like everything about this system, except one SSD slot, and wish for a second free slot.
I love the laptop, and I don’t have any regrets. I’m a big Asus fan. I am glad about my decision to pick this laptop over other options.
A fan bearing on the item I ordered was damaged. The fan was loud when sitting idle and shook the laptop a bit. After Asus customer support confirmed I returned it, I told them what happened. I got the second one that worked fine this time around, but the second had issues with overheating and frame rate. There might have been a problem with the thermal paste on the CPU. Overheating was a major problem, and even older games like Diablo 3 could not run at their maximum frame rates. Although the laptop was most likely tanking frames to lower heat levels, it occasionally crashed nonetheless. The second one also had to be returned. Thank goodness Amazon offers a good return policy. I wouldn’t help or recommend Asus products.
Opening the program causes the top of the screen to make a clicking/snapping sound. Laptops are shipped without having been thoroughly inspected before being sent to customers. I really would appreciate it if you stopped wasting people’s time and did not send anything until it was 100 percent solid. We must buy a reliable laptop if we are spending almost $2,000. My review will be updated once I receive the replacement.
Pros
- Sturdy build, yet thin and light.
- High-quality keyboard with per-key backlighting.
- 1TB SSD.
- mostly practical design
- fast and quiet keyboard
- Good 144 Hz IPS screen
- Good performance, but it would benefit from some tweaking when playing games and running demanding workloads
- Battery life is decent
Cons
- Poor performance for the price.
- A 144Hz display can’t be used well by hardware.
- Bottom-placed speakers of average quality
- A 1660Ti configuration is expensive

7.-MSI GL65 Leopard 10SFK-062
Another excellent choice is the MSI Leopard, which features some of the best components available at this price range. If you have ever purchased a gaming laptop from MSI, you won’t have any problems with this model. I’m sure you’re aware of that fact. Powered by an RTX 2070, this gaming laptop will run practically any game you can imagine and will deliver magnificent FPS in just about any situation. We’ve said this many times before.
There is excellent build quality in this MSI board, and it feels very sturdy, so it is not cheaply made. Although the vents look somewhat aggressive, they are not exaggerated, considering the quality of all the components. It has a 1080p display and 144Hz refresh rate; it looks beautiful and will go the distance because 144Hz refresh rates or higher are the norms nowadays.
It dissipates heat very effectively because it features large vents with inbuilt fans, so it does not interfere with the operation of the fan. It includes a total of 7 heat pipes. 512 GB of storage is okay for a while, but I would suggest that to store larger files that do not have to be stored on the SSD, you should buy a 1 TB hard drive to go with it. There are 16 GB of RAM on the laptop, so it’s more than enough memory to upgrade to 64 GB, so you can use that feature if you want to. I’m still not sure you’ll ever use 64 GB, but it’s there.
Even though MSI’s high-performance gaming laptop is reasonably priced, it packs more value than ever before into its GL65 Leopard 10SFK-062. If you spend the money needed, you will receive the most powerful gaming and productivity package available.
This gaming laptop has a lightweight, compact form factor, RTX 2070 graphics (which is close to the performance of a desktop gaming computer), and an i7 6-core, 12-thread processor, in addition to the unique IPS 144Hz display.
However, MSI’s ports are located on its sides, making them less than ideal. Despite the poor positioning, however, the docks offer an excellent selection. Aside from the Ethernet jack, HDMI and Mini Display Port video outputs, Type-A and Type-C USB ports, and headphone and microphone jacks.
A gaming rig that’s price-oriented and value-oriented should be equipped with a display like this. Besides the fact that it offers a resolution of 1080p, which is perfect for gaming, but even better, it’s bright, colorful image, anti-glare surface, and IPS technology offer wide viewing angles.
Gaming screens often support 144Hz refresh rates, and that’s very important. In modern games, the RTX 2070 can push beyond 60 frames per second (fps) outside of some less demanding esports titles.
In the GL65 line, MSI offers upscale models with per-key backlighting, and that’s the most significant selling point. When you press the keys, MSI gaming laptops tend to have a rubbery feel and a satisfying amount of travel. Its layout is such that there is no left-side Windows key. Instead, you have the Dragon Center utility preinstalled by MSI that can be changed with the FN key to the right of the space bar.
Customer response after purchasing
For the first week or so, I enjoyed the laptop, but then I noticed that it started stuttering over time. As I tested the video card’s temperature, I saw it was over 90°C and overheating to the point of throttling. This laptop has been returned, and I’m going to try another one. What a disappointment, the build quality was nice, and the laptop itself was pretty good.
Upgrade with the cheapest ram and a USB Type C port hub, then get the best type C mouse. The laptop runs hot, but with the pad, it works great, I do 3d graphics and motion design, so it works great.
I have been testing this laptop for nearly 48 hours since I received it a few days ago. Here’s what you need to know: It has a good screen for a laptop. It runs at 144hz and looks great right out of the box. The chassis feels sturdy, but it’s not too heavy. Games run smoothly on the 6GB RTX 3060 graphics card. During Division 2 max settings at 1080p, the frame rate was over 120 FPS. War Thunder, Escape from Tarkov, and Mordhau were also tested, and they all ran smoothly at 144hz (both at ultra 1080p at 144hz). Fast shooters will also benefit from Fordham since input or screen lag is not noticeable. When switching from, there are no micro stutters. While I wouldn’t play this on my lap, the laptop top does not feel hot when applied pressure. My laptop now has a one to WD Blue NVMe drive. It is easy to do, and videos are available on how to do it. The CPU has no such performance despite running cool for a laptop (an average of 78 degrees under load).

To prevent upgrading many things later on, make sure you buy the best configuration for your gaming laptop when you buy it. It is possible that certain components might not be compatible.
The RTX 2070 graphics card and 32 GB of RAM on this gaming laptop ensure long-term performance.
This configuration appeals to me because it has 2 TB of HDD storage and 1 TB SSD, making it one of the best formats on the market today. In another article, I go over storage options. There is a 144Hz refresh rate on display, with a 1080p resolution. In modern computer technology, it is standard to have high resolutions when playing games. For laptops, however, I have found that this reduces performance, so I prefer to have lower resolutions. I don’t think the higher resolution is worth the performance loss.
Because the heat dissipation relies heavily on the lower mesh that comes with it, it works best on a desk or hard surface. Gaming enthusiasts can configure the fans according to their preferences.
Customer response after purchasing
I spent two weeks waiting for the laptop to arrive during the warranty period. A fantastic laptop that works properly under warranty, except for the headphone jack, which I discovered after a couple of weeks. I spent hours contacting technical support with no results.
My next step was to call for a repair. I am receiving a return shipping label from LG after verifying the problem again. I have to package it for return to send it back. A customer service agent told me the shipping label for the repair would not arrive until Monday or Tuesday. In addition, they told me it would take 8 to 10 days to repair once they received it, without offering to send it back overnight. So two more weeks of no use, which means another two weeks of warranty expiration. Currently, I am told I can’t return the product by Amazon because shipping time and finding the problem took two weeks. This has me so frustrated, but I will continue to report on it. The low weight and large screen are attractive features.

- The color reproduction is not very good.
It has an outstanding gaming design and is one of the best gaming laptops available. It’s not that I like the way it looks, but the actual performance is what matters more, and this laptop is up to the task! With a GPU as advanced as the RTX 2070 SUPER, this gaming laptop can easily run FFXIV at the highest settings without lag or stuttering. With its high graphics and smooth FPS, you can easily play shadow bringers at the highest settings.
Gamers like the fact that this gaming console comes with a gorgeous RGB keyboard. The keyboard itself is of extremely high quality and should last for a very long time. Taking into account the 1920x1080p resolution, the screen has some unique characteristics. This screen is still a 300 Hz model, which means that it will run smooth and without ghosting or tearing as the GPU is always pushing FPS.
A gaming laptop like this one is equipped with 32 GB of RAM, which is more than enough to handle any task that comes its way. The amount of memory is much higher than what most laptops come with, which means it will last longer. There’s no reason why other gaming laptops couldn’t be upgraded at a later date. Most gamers are likely to upgrade their laptops in the future, so it is handy that it comes with it already. Moreover, a gaming laptop in this price range comes with all the ports you might expect – Thunderbolt 3 USB type C, HDMI, etc.
Customer response after purchasing
I am pleased with the battery life. Despite its low battery life, it should last you a good few hours if you unplug your computer quite frequently, so if you’re one of those people who frequently disconnect your computer, then you might want to pay attention to this model. This laptop has an average cooling performance. Despite that, it’s not the best, as the keyboard gets quite hot after gaming for a while, and that has been a problem with many gaming laptops, but in this case, it’s not a problem.

Customer response after purchasing
According to the advertisement, the new Dell G7 gaming laptop is the newest generation. However, when it arrived, the G5 was already in use. A G5 is displayed in the picture that is included with the advertisement. The picture is misleading. To some extent, the device performed as advertised, so the specs were accurate.
While expensive, the experience was worth every penny. It runs current games at maximum settings with amazing performance. Its sturdy body and solid screen are a delight to look at. This was a very smooth and almost effortless optimization process on my end (which is kind of rare). I like the contrast of the custom keyboard lighting.
Anyone wishing to avoid second-guessing their gaming laptop purchase should look no further than this.
